What's happening....

Since I haven't updated in quite some time, I'll fill everyone in on what's happening around here....

Mack is walking an running around all over the place. He looks so funny with his bow-legged little waddle. He is hilarious and though he is a man of few words, he's very smart and does the funniest things. He makes us laugh all the time.

Maddie is so grown-up. Sometimes too grown up. She starts kindergarten in less than a week and we are so sad. I can't believe this day is actually almost here. I have dreaded it for 5 years! She's getting a little nervous now, but more anxious that she has to go 5 days a week. We only went to pre-school 3 days a week. She of course will do just fine. She's so smart (and I'm not just saying that). She truly is very intelligent. She's also very funny. She says stuff that makes me laugh out loud for days!

Michael is still job hunting, so keep us in of your prayers. We just need to be able to spend more time with family and have the opportunity to make more to support our family.

I am officially a working mom. Unfortunately, I no longer have the opportunity to work from home, so Mack will be with family, babysitters and pre-school 5 days a week. I am very sad about this and struggle everyday with it. Right now, I have no other option, so please pray God will open doors there as well. I love being at home with my kids. I also love to work. That is why my situation worked so well when I could work from home. So, please pray for me during this transition. It's going to be very tough.

On the crazy life side of things....Michael is officially coaching Maddie's soccer team this year. Yikes! It should definately be crazy. Maddie is so busy, I don't know if we will even see our home except at bedtime and weekends. She has AWANAS, Soccer, Gymnastics, School, and of course we now have to start attending the Friday night football games. Go Bobcats! So, we are VERY Busy! I'm so thankful that Mack is a flexible baby. He just rolls with the punches (poor thing).

That is all for now. It's been a stressful and busy summer. God has blessed us with so much and we know that He is in control. Thank goodness!
